When we launched OneReasonRecordings in Jan 2012, we had a vision to change the world through music. In three years, we were able to raise over $30,000 in donations, become a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, received a Google Grant and were featured in multiple publications including the Huffington Post.
In 2015, to clarify our vision and our focus, we went into hiatus as an organization. From the start of OneReasonRecordings, the organization has always been more than simply music. We launched apparel, products and more. We realized that while music was the focus of what we did, the true core of our organization was using creativity for good.
Now, in 2018, after refining the brand vision, we are renaming ourselves as MIP Foundation. We realized that the name OneReasonRecordings was not inclusive of everything that we did. We realized that we were, in so many ways, much more than simply an organization using music to change the world. To all of those that have and did support us know that our focus has not changed, rather, we've changed our name and our structure to make an even larger impact than we did before.
