MIP Apparel was a concept that began in 2014 under the name OneReasonApparel (ORA). The concept came from OneReasonRecordings, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raised funds for social justice through music.
In the same way that OneReasonRecordings was created to empower communities through music, ORA continued the same socially-driven focus, but through apparel. By partnering with talented designers around the country, ORA focused on highlighting artistic talent and sourced high-grade apparel to make sure that comfort was not sacrificed for style.
Each shirt is hand selected and individually screen-printed with the highest grade ink available to ensure the designs remain as vivid for as long as possible. 80% of all net proceeds are donated. 20% of all net proceeds are paid to the artist that designed the apparel.
With ORA stopping operations in 2015, MIP Foundation acquired ORA’s remaining assets and rebranded the organization as MIP Apparel.
