MIP Books was a concept that began in 2014 during OneReasonRecordings's Miracle Campaign, benefiting Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Johnathan Chen, inspired by the organization's campaign, created a children's story called Ashley and the Star. The project was initiated, but never came to fruition until 2018. By partnering with Brody Willard, Johnathan Chen began to bring the story to life.
Set to release in October of 2018, Ashley and the Star is a story about a little girl and her journey to find a fallen star. 100% of the proceeds from the book will be donated. 50% will be donated to organizations focused on children and the remaining 50% will be used to purchase copies of the book to distribute to schools and hospitals around the country.
With plans to continue creating stories and books, MIP Books was created.
